Dusty has been in the entertainment industry for 30 years, recording and touring all over the world for many different musical artists. He competed in numerous jazz festivals earning him a scholarship at Stan Kenton Clinics. He has 20 years experience in organizing special event fundraisers for non-profit organizations, working with such associations as Law Enforcement Agencies, Civic Organizations and Social Services. His experiences have helped Westlake Events establish solid relationships with all its Sponsors and Artists.

THE TEAM
Joel Brandes - Vice President
Joel was a member of the Denver Junior Police Band where he served for 10 years and achieved the rank of Captain. He marched in Presidents Eisenhower's and Kennedy's Inaugurations with the band. At age 15 he won the Colorado State Soloists Competition.
He went on to promote concerts with such greats as Elton John, the Doobie Brothers, Rod Stewart, and the Beach Boys. Joel's experience as an entertainment producer spans over two decades and he has been involved in producing more than 1800 events. He received a Gold Record for his participation in the Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings "Outlaw" tour.
Joel is involved in the community and past endeavors include being a member of the Thousand Oaks Rotary, President of the New West Youth Symphony and board member of the New West Symphony. Joel attended the University of Colorado with a major in Business Administration.
Dave Custer - Coordinator of Field Marketing Directors
Dave Custer was raised in Sioux City, Iowa. He walked into one of our offices when he was 16 and by 18 he was running his own office for the company. While working for us, he went to Briar Cliff College, IA where he majored in business & finance. He became our #1 salesman and he works on the development of new marketing directors and new markets.

Lauren M. Humphrey - Special Events
Coordinator
Lauren has been in the entertainment industry for 15 years. She
began coordinating live events throughout the United States and
Russia, then as a business manager/production coordinator, was involved
in many television and movie productions. Her experience with people
and personalities, show deadlines, and all of the logistics involved
makes her an asset to our fundraising endeavors.
